Full-time Special Education Teacher position at Valley Middle School.  Must have or be eligible for North Dakota teacher license qualified to teach Special Education. General Strategist credential preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Training in PRo-Act program or the ability to be trained in PRo-Act Program
• Work with a variety of students within any disability area
• Design and implement positive behavior support plans
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to create thorough lesson plans and implement them effectively
• Must be able to do assessments for purposes of determining special education eligibility
• Must have good data collection expertise and the ability to monitor student progress
• Must be a good collaborator and team player
• Must be able to work with and supervise paraeducators

Salary shown is based on 2018-2019 salary schedule.  New salary to be determined per teacher negotiations.
