This posting covers multiple positions at various schools for the 2019-2020 school year.  

First day of school is August 26, 2019.

Hours:  3:00 - 6:00 pm on days when school is in session. 

NOTE:  Applications will be received, reviewed, and interviews completed by the Encore Director for job openings throughout the school year.

Para - ENCORE Program

Qualifications:  High School Graduate preferred, eagerness to facilitate student learning, CPR/First Aid Certified or willingness to be trained for certification

Job Goal:  To assist the Site Coordinator in providing a well organized, calm environment where students participate in enrichment activities

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with individual students or groups of students to support learning of material, skills, or activities
• Assist Site Coordinator in generating special strategies for reinforcing skills based on a sympathetic understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities
• Alert the Site Coordinator to any problem or special information about a student
• Lead enrichment activities, homework, and centers as assigned by the Site Coordinator
• Assist with supervision of students during all ENCORE activities
• Assist students with clothing, snack preparation, clean-up, wash-up, and bathroom routine
• Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality
• Participate in training as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Coordinator, Project Director, or Principal
