Students in Transition (SIT) Bus Monitor

Essential Job Functions:

1. Assists the bus driver with the safety, movement, management and care of the children boarding the school bus, leaving the bus or being transported
2. Seats self in an area on the bus to ensure observation of all passengers at all times and make sure they are following school bus safety rules
3. Is aware of problems between students and keeping those students separated by assigning seats
4. Ensures that a child takes his/her belongings with him/her when departing the bus
5. Maintains a high standard of student conduct at all times
6. Work with MV Liaison and Van Scheduler to maintain accurate routes

Work schedule - days that school is in session 

Split Shift:

6:45am - 8:30am

2:45pm - 4:15pm
