This is a nine (9) month position (August - May)
Hours: 4:00am - 12:00pm (40 hrs / week)
Education: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
Qualifications: Experience with food preparation in a commercial setting; human relations skills; ability to lift sixty (60) pounds.
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Job Goal: Prepare a nutritious meal for timely delivery to satellite kitchens.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food and supplies for delivery.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and cookware daily and clean food preparation and storage equipment periodically.
- Portion and prepare food for delivery based on meal counts.
- Refrigerate and restore unused food for future use.
- Meet state and federal requirements for meal serving and sanitation.
- Label and date prepared food items to ensure food safety and quality.
- Monitor recipe development and record changes made.
- Monitor and record food temperature during preparation and holding.
- Help production manager with catering events.
- Track food items (inventory) daily for production manager.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
