This is a nine (9) month position (August - May)

Hours:  4:00am - 12:00pm (40 hrs / week)

  

Education:  High School Diploma or High School Equivalency

 

Qualifications: Experience with food preparation in a commercial setting; human relations skills; ability to lift sixty (60) pounds.

 

Reports To: Production Supervisor

 

Job Goal: Prepare a nutritious meal for timely delivery to satellite kitchens.

 

Responsibilities:   

 

  1. Prepare food and supplies for delivery.
  1. Clean and sanitize kitchen and cookware daily and clean food preparation and storage equipment periodically. 
  1. Portion and prepare food for delivery based on meal counts. 
  1. Refrigerate and restore unused food for future use. 
  1. Meet state and federal requirements for meal serving and sanitation. 
  1. Label and date prepared food items to ensure food safety and quality. 
  1. Monitor recipe development and record changes made. 
  1. Monitor and record food temperature during preparation and holding. 
  1. Help production manager with catering events. 
  1. Track food items (inventory) daily for production manager. 
  1. Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
