Full-time Instructional Design Coach position located at Central High School. This position will work collaboratively with teachers in an effort to improve instructional design and delivery that impacts student engagement, student learning, and closing the achievement gap between and among all sub-groups of learners.

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or equivalent years of teaching at the secondary level.
- Minimum 3-5 years successful teaching experience.
- Demonstrated skill in oral and written communication.
- Demonstrated success in establishing and sustaining trusting professional relationships.
- Demonstrated knowledge of differentiated instruction for a variety of learners that closes the learning gap between all students.
Reports to: Chief Academic Officer
Responsibilities:
1. Assist teachers with:
- creating a learner-centered classroom.
- the integration of curriculum, instruction and technology to impact students.
- the development of proficiency scales tied to reporting tools.
- the development and delivery of technology rich learning experiences.
- aligning content standards with instructional practices.
2. Partner with teachers to:
- respectfully model and share teaching strategies that help teachers meet instructional and student learning goals.
- allow them (teachers) to take risks in a non-evaluative environment while providing coaching-based instructional feedback.
3. Lead and participate in curriculum development and professional development.
4. Remain on the cutting edge of instructional innovation that embraces collaboration within and outside of the department.
5. Support the District’s High Reliability Schools (HRS) initiative as a framework for ongoing and continuous school improvement.
Terms of Employment: Work schedule mid-August through mid-June
188 day teacher contract plus 2-3 weeks
