If you are hired for this position, you will receive $200 upon successful performance and consistent employment in June at the completion of the school year if referred by a Grand Forks Public School current employee. Terms of Employment: Nine (9) months (academic school year of the students enrolled).
Hours/days: 8:00am to 2:00 pm, 35 hours/wk, Monday - Friday
Education: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.
Qualifications: Positive human relations skills. Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Job Goal: Providing customer service, develop food preparation and production skills.
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Preparation and serving meals to students according to established methods and procedures
- Maintain high standards of food preparation and service with emphasis on menu appeal and maximum nutritional value
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment and Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; occasionally walk and stand. The ability to hear and see in order to communicate effectively as well as communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; Maintain effective audio/visual discrimination and perception to the degree necessary for the successful performance of assigned duties; Maintain mental capacity, allowing for effective interaction and communication with others.
Evaluation: Annual written evaluation by the Supervisor.
