Terms of Employment:  Nine (9) months, academic school year

Hours:  working approximately 3:00pm - 7:00pm, Monday through Thursday through May 30th, 12:00pm-4:00pm Monday through Thursday in June.

 

Education: High School Diploma or High School Equivalency

 

Qualifications:  Human relations skills and academic skills. Experience working with the education of children preferred.

 

Reports To:  Mentor Center Teacher(s)

 

Job Goal:  Assist the Mentor Center students with live and recorded lessons, homework, and special projects.

 

Responsibilities:            

  1. Assist the teacher with classroom activities. 
  1. Work with students individually or in small groups. 
  1. Complete other responsibilities as assigned by Mentor Center Teacher(s). 

Evaluation: Written evaluation by the supervisor with input from the Mentor Center Coordinator.
