Education:                Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Communications, related field. Master’s Degree preferred.

 

Qualifications:        One to three years of related experience with Federal and/or State Grants with grant writing, administration, and management. A demonstration of increasing responsibility and experience with grant writing, research, and strong knowledge of grant processes.   

 

Job Summary:         The role of the Competitive Grant and Sponsorship Coordinator will plan, direct, and administer a number of the grants at Grand Forks Public Schools (GFPS). This position is responsible for pre-award grant writing, coordination of grant applications for the District alongside administration and business office personnel, as well as post-award support for staff in charge of grant-funded projects and grants compliance for GFPS. In addition, this position is responsible for implementing fund development plans, targeting financial goals to support the fiscal year operating budget with a special emphasis on growing major grants and cultivating foundation support. This position works collaboratively with the district, school administration, business office, and the Grand Forks Foundation for Education & Alumni Network to determine and develop fundable opportunities from innovative ideas and areas that support GFPS’s mission and vision.

Terms of Employment:  Twelve (12) months, full-time Monday through Friday with occasional evening hours.


Evaluation: Annual written evaluation by the Superintendent
