Terms of Employment:  12 months

Hours:  8:00am - 4:30pm; Monday through Friday

 

 Education: Associated degree in related area plus 3 years of related experience in human resources. Directly related experience may be considered as an equivalent to the education requirements.

 

Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills, human relations skills, organizational skills, collaboration skills, communication skills, computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Google, Adobe), knowledge of hiring processes and records management.

 

Job Summary: The Human Resources Associate at Grand Forks Public Schools plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the HR team, assisting with various HR functions, and ensuring compliance with school district policies and relevant regulations. The Human Resources Associate will be an essential part of the team dedicated to attracting, retaining, and developing a talented and diverse workforce to serve the educational needs of our community.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, walk and stand. Lift sixty (60) lbs. occasionally, with the ability to reach, stand, walk, carry, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, and/or crawl. The ability to hear and see in order to communicate effectively as well as communicate clearly and concisely. Prolonged periods of sitting. Occasional travel for recruitment or training purposes.
